Adoption Program

The Adopt-A-Mile Program is a partnership between Keep Pinellas Beautiful (KPB), Pinellas County and local residents. This Program is a great opportunity for individuals, groups and corporations to give back to their communities in a highly visible way. Through this free program, participants will adopt an area of Pinellas County and receive the training and materials necessary to host their own cleanups. Adoptions greatly enhance the appearance of our communities and go a long way in reducing litter and debris from entering our waterways and polluting the natural habitats of our native wildlife.

Annual Cleanups

We conduct two Annual Countywide Cleanup Events. They are the Great American Cleanup (Spring - 3rd Saturday in March) and the International Coastal Cleanup (Fall - 3rd Saturday in October). Volunteers of all ages are welcome!

Community Improvement Projects

KPB engages residents to be a part of our community improvement initiatives to create positive change and a lasting impact within our local communities. We work with community leaders and interested parties (churches/schools/businesses, etc.) to organize projects throughout Pinellas County. These community projects can include cleanups, Florida native species plantings and gardens, tree plantings, invasive species removals, and mulching. If you are interested in hosting a service project for your organization, school, company, etc., please complete our Community Project Inquiry Form.
