Engagement Coordinator

Anastasia joined Keep Pinellas Beautiful as a volunteer at the beginning of 2022, swiftly joining the Ambassador Program and focusing on cleanup, beautification, and outreach events. Hired in February 2023 as the new Engagement Coordinator, her focus is on overseeing, encouraging, and expanding volunteer engagement, a critical part of the KPB network.

Growing up in Pinellas County, frolicking on the natural beaches and exploring local small parks, Ana has a passion for the community and making sure it stays natural and healthy. With a Bachelors in Anthropology and a Masters in Entomology from the University of Florida, she has a unique and holistic perspective on humans as part of the greater ecosystem. Her continual studies since 2010 have been diverse and she hopes to blend her knowledge and skills together to find what inspires people to care for their environment and one another.

In her free time, Ana enjoys finding cool bugs, writing, reading, and nights out with her friends.
